A Journey to the Depths of West Africa

Film Shooting in Burkina Faso

Together with the German film production company “Text+Bild” we are currently working on an exiting co-production for ARTE/ZDF.

The documentary (working title: “Kadoua and the Elephants”) tells the story of Kadouas, a bold woman, who – by producing shea butter – wants to offer her grandchildren a better future . The setting is located in Burkina Faso’s very South, one of the world’s poorest regions, haunted by the lack of an economic infrastructure, droughts and the increasing threat of terrorism.

Support comes from a unexpected ally also known as the grey landscapers of Burkina Faso – the elephants.
